Obituary of Mildred Iona Daniels
DANIELS, Mildred Iona – Age 82, of North River, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at home with her family beside her. Born in North River, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth (Acker) Robar.
Surviving are her husband, Reginald Stanley Daniels; daughters, Doreen (Alan), Simpsons Corner; Bettyanne Robar, North River; Christine (Darryll) Tanner, Stonehurst; Bonnie (David) Bent, Vancouver Island; son, Ivan (Nancy), North River; brother, Ira Robar (Madeline), Bridgewater; half-brother, Robert Daniels (Mary), Midville Branch; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters, Thelma MacGowan, Myrna Durno, Mary Leggette; half-brother, Arnold Daniels.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A reception in celebration of her life will be held 2-4 p.m., Sunday, May 6th in the North River Community Hall, North River. No flowers please, donations may be made to the family or to the Journey Room at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
