Obituary of Leslie Thomas Little

LITTLE, Leslie Thomas – Age 70, Pinehurst, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Toronto, on April 30, 1948 he was a son of the late Gordon Edward and Evelyn Mae (Nixon) Little.

Les was a former employee of New Germany Building Supplies for 16 years and was a currently employed for 15 years with Castle Building Center, Blockhouse. Les was a firefighter for over 31 years with the New Germany Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Helen Patricia (Doyle); son, Ken (Liza) Little, Stratford, Ont.; grandchildren, Alyssa Little and Kris Ingram, Jarrett Little, Samantha Little, Logan Little; sisters, Evelyn, Sheila and Brenda; brothers, Glen, Bob, Ted, Danny (Michele) and Brian (Debbie); many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son, David; granddaughters, Shelby and Trisha; sister, Arlene and brother, George.

A visitation to Celebrate Les’ life, will be held from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., Sunday, April 7 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany, with Rev. Catherine Robar offering Words of Remembrance at 1:30 p.m. No flowers please, donations may be made to the New Germany Volunteer Fire Department or a charity of your choice.
