Obituary of Mervyn Dean Mailman

Mailman, Mervyn Dean -Aged 89 of Springfield, passed away May 24, 2019 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born July 23, 1929 in Lake Pleasant, he was a son of the late Burpee and Elsie (Allen) Mailman. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; daughters, Krista (Vernon) Burgoyne, Springfield; Della (Randy Ernst), New Germany; son, Wendell (Lisa Marcus) Kitchener; grandchildren, Andrew, Lisa, Justin, Alissa and Curtis;many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Sheldon; sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" and Barbara; half-brother, Ronald and half-sister, Frances Roach.

There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, May 31 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River, Pastor David Whynot officiating. Interment to follow in Springfield Baptist Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mervyn’s memory may be made to Springfield Cemetery or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River.
