Obituary of Marguerite Olivia Snyder-Crouse

SNYDER-CROUSE, Marguerite Olivia – Age 96, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 in Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater, where she had been residing. Born in Wileville, she was a daughter of the late Leander and Etta (Wile) Snyder. Surviving are daughter, Donna Snyder, Aulenback Point Road; step-daughters, Margo Benning, Johanna Benning, Sharon Lamb, Donna White; son, Douglas (Melissa) Snyder, Maders Cove; sister, Greta Hirtle and sister-in-law, Gloria Snyder; grandchildren, Daniel (Julie) Snyder, Diana (Chris) Snyder; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence Russell Snyder and second husband, John “Jack” Crouse; son, Charles; brothers, Roy, Billy and Murray.

Visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, September 4 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. A private family graveside service will be held in Hebbville Cemetery, Hebbville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hillside Pines Nursing Home or a charity of choice.
