I have warm memories of my Aunt Kathleen as I spent a lot of time next door at her house as a small child. My condolences to you, Michael and Kenneth, in the loss of your mom. She was very kind and for a few years wrote to me faithfully, even though we didn't see each other often after I moved to the city and had a family of my own. She sure was proud of her family. It saddens me deeply that my Godmother Kathleen Lohnes has passed, she was always a kind and spirited lady, I saw her last a few years ago at my sister Dianne's funeral, she came all the way from Bridgewater to Lockeport to pay her respects, this was the kind of person she was, I know she is in heaven with the angels, she will be dearly missed.

Kathleen was a lovely aunt to us. It was always so nice to see and talk to Aunt Kathleen at the family get togethers. She always had interesting stories to tell us.She is now at peace with her Lord and Saviour. She was so fortunate to have Karen who was always by her side. We believe that Karen was her earth angel. This is a very difficult time for you as you prepare to say good-by to your mom. In the coming months you will miss her very much. She was such a wonderful woman and did the Lord's work on earth which has earned her a place by his side.
Her faith in the Lord was unshakable and our father in heaven decided it was time she joined him. May it ease your grief to know she is with him and ñthe rest of her family that went before her and has been waiting for her.

Kathleen was quite the lady. I recieved a few of her letters over the years we worshipped together.
She was a strong lady with a clear understanding of salvation, and never minded telling whomever was around.
