Obituary of Marina Bernice Gorman

GORMAN, Marina Bernice – age 84 of Upper LaHave, NS passed away on October 21, 2019 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.  Marina was born in Charlottetown, P.E.I. on January 16, 1935.  She was a daughter of the late Francis M. Corcoran and Mamie B. (Butler) Corcoran.  Besides her parents, Marina was predeceased by her husband Edward, of 61 years; brothers Francis, Ralph and Lindsay.  She is survived by a son, Gary (Priscilla) Gorman, daughter, Debra (Paul) Naugler; sisters Roberta Verge, Sheila and Karen Corcoran; brothers, Leo and Alan (Sharon); four grandchildren and two great grandsons. 

Marina was a retired bookkeeper, who enjoyed camping, motorcycling, music, sewing, singing, and playing the piano. 

By family request, there will be no service at this time.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.  Many thanks for the exemplary services from the South Shore V.O.N. and Lunenburg County Palliative Care.  In memory of Marina, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
