Obituary of Junior Whynot

WHYNOT, Esmond “Junior” – age 92 of Lower Branch passed away peacefully January 17, 2020 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.  Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Esmond Whynot Sr. and Esther (Veinot) Whynot. 

Surviving are his wife, Hilda Whynot; daughters, Coleen Whynott; Glenda (Murray) MacKenzie. Junior was predeceased by his sister, Erma Orme. 

The family would like to send a special thank-you to the team of the 3rd floor surgery unit at South Shore Regional Hospital for the incredible care they provided for Esmond during his time spent with them. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street Bridgewater where visitation will be held Tuesday, January 21 from 12pm – 2pm followed by a funeral service at 2pm in the chapel.  Interment will be held following the service in Hillside Cemetery, Branch LaHave.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.  Online condolences may be made by visiting www.sweenysfuneralhome.com.
