Dear Krista, Craig, April and family, we were so very sorry to hear of your loss. We only met Cliff, once but he welcomed us like we had known him for years! A very personable man, happy to be Nova Scotia and delighted with his and Krista's new homestead and beautiful horses, he will be missed. Our Deepest Condolences to you all. Debbie & Robert Feener

I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Cliff. I met Cliff many years ago when he worked for Etobicoke Parks and played shinny at lunch at one of the outdoor rinks. Years later I met Cliff playing in a men's hockey league in Toronto. I will never forget scoring a goal on Cliff in the first shift of the game and giving him the business after the goal. The next shift I was taking into the boards behind his net by none other than the goalie Cliff who then had a great laugh at my expense. He was just a terrific guy. I am so sad to hear he was taken at such a young age.
My condolences to the family.

Dear Krista, our deepest sympathies to you, Simon, and your family. We were shocked to hear of Cliff's sudden passing. We will always remember Cliff's kindness to Kevin when he volunteered to coach him in hockey. Also, our sons' friendship and ours, enjoying time spent at games with the boys, and the fun times we had together as couples. We will cherish those memories. You and Cliff made a perfect couple. Sending love, Christy, Terry, Kevin, and Maddy. xo

I didn’t spend as much time around Cliff as I did Krista but she seemed to carry him with her wherever she went so I felt that I knew him well. He was so often in our conversations and once she actually even brought him along physically to our exercise class. I was so impressed to see a man who could leave his ego at the door and join in with us. That is rare. My deepest, most heart-felt condolences to Krista and family.

Remembering several wonderful dinners with Krista and Cliff, one that stands out for us is when we celebrated A Boxing Day dinner at our home 2019. Cliff was our horseman, assisting to round up the horses when they would avoid capture. The love I witnessed between Krista and Cliff is something that is not often seen after so many years of marriage. Cliff will certainly be missed. Carol and Mark Higney

My sincere condolences to Krista, Simon, Craig and Cliff's extended family. Cliff was one of the good ones and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. I'll think of him every time I look at my huge Elm tree that he scaled like a monkey (my cousin and I affectionately refer to him as 'monkey man') to cut down. He also helped my horse, Jilly to trust men. It was a pleasure to have known you in life, Cliff. Rest well.
