Obituary of Edna Blanche Wagner


WAGNER, Edna Blanche (Dominey) – age 88, passed away at home on September 12, 2021 in Pleasantville.  Born on October 16, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Edith Dominey of Fox Point.  Edna was raised in New Cumberland by Oran and Elfreda Wamback. 

Edna is survived by daughter, Brenda Lee (Ken); sons, Kevin (Sandra); Derrick (Tracy); grandchildren; Craig, Laura, Emma, Kate, Savannah, and Kameron; sisters in-law, Annie Bradley, Faye Wagner; brother in-law Capt. Earle Wagner; foster brother Carl Nowe; many nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband, Karl (Junior), Edna was predeceased by her sisters, Pearl, Florence; brother, Wilson and foster brother, Brenton. 

Edna spent a countless number of hours volunteering her time between the Pleasantville Fire Department Auxiliary and St Peter’s Church Guild, and as well was known to have always been baking treats for family and friends for all special occasions. 

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.  There will be no visitation by request.  A graveside service will be held 11am Saturday, September 25, 2021, in St. Peters Anglican Cemetery, Pentz, Rev Oliver Osmond officiating.  Flowers are accepted.  Memorial donations may be made to the Pleasantville Fire Department, SHAID Animal Shelter or St. Peters Cemetery Fund.  Online condolences and donations may be made by visiting www.sweenysfuneralhome.com.
