I am so sorry to hear of Melba’s passing. I cut Melba’s hair for most of my career, and I feel so blessed to have got to know so well over the years. She was one of the most kind hearted, loving people I have ever met. Melba could break into happy tears just thinking of how much she loves her family or sad tears talking about a stranger in pain. Her kindness was unmatched and we always joked when her and Lloyd’s hair were on the floor that they were salt and pepper. Melba and I shared a lot of laughs and tears over the years, and I will never forgot her. When Melba asked “how are you” she really cared and wanted to know. Lloyd and Wendy, I hope you hold each other close and know everyday that Melba loved you two more than anything, and that you can find some kind of peace in her passing as I know she’s at peace to be with Krisanne. Wendy, your Mom talked so highly of you, and always said she could have never made it through so many tough times without your love and support. She always said you spoiled her and you were her favourite company. And Lloyd, I know Melba told you how much she loved you, because she always told me how much she loved you, and we always laughed how Lloyd doesn’t know how old he is, cause he could work circles around someone half his age. I just wanted to let you both know I’m thinking of you and praying you find peace. She was loved beyond measure, even by her hairdresser.
