LOHNES, Judy Gertrude (Ernst) – Age 64, of Upper Northfield, passed away on February 24, 2022, at home after a short battle with cancer and surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Rita (Slauenwhite) Ernst.

Judy loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them every free moment she had. Her love of animals always had her adding to the family. She also enjoyed her flower gardens and was always adding new ones spending countless hours in them. Judy worked at West Northfield Elementary School, in the cafeteria, where she worked beside her close friend, Fran. She enjoyed her job immensely and looked forward to going in everyday. The highlight of her day was seeing her grandson at school. Judy also volunteered at the local Sunday school.

Judy had a heart of gold. She looked forward to spending as much time as possible with her grandson, Luke, who was the light of her life. They spent many hours playing together in the snow, biking, swimming, and crafting. She will be greatly missed by him and all her family.
