With Hallowe’en ended, I thought I would share this memory of Roger with you all. Roger always got the greatest haul of goodies every year. His secret; he tricked each house four times by switching masks, turning coat backwards, and wearing multiple costumes. All done at the end of each driveway. Brilliant and best of all, shared his bounty of treats with all. Thanks Roger.
Dear Vern, Connie and family,
So sorry for your loss. Roger was a terrific and funny cousin who will missed. I hope he remembered our teenage road trip out east when he relocated to Nova Scotia. Thank God Vernie did all the driving and I navigated because Roger would have had us lost before leaving Ontario. His mom, Aunt Marion, taught me how to swim at Mosley’s Beach so I remember all the swimming we did as kids. Roger was keen on making deals and knew a good deal when he saw one. I got a good deal to be lucky to have Roger as my cousin and friend for so many years. He was a kind and gentle soul who would help anyone in need. RIP Roger,
Carl and Darlene
