Obituary of Marion Barbara LeBlanc

Marion Barbara LeBlanc, age 94, went peacefully home to be with her Lord and Saviour on December 17, 2022. Born on November 29, 1928, she was a daughter of the late, Bradford and Lugene Haughn of Pleasantville, N.S.

After school Marion attended Bridgewater Commercial School. She received a stenographer certificate and worked for Westons Company in Moncton. Here, she met a handsome sailor while skating, Raymond. They married at Mount Allison University in Sackville, N.B. Before moving to West LaHave, N.S. they had their only daughter, Cathy. Marion enjoyed gardening and the outdoor life. She had a passion for beautiful flower gardens, a special rose garden beside the house and an extensive rock garden in front. Many photographers would stop to capture her flowers in pictures. She loved hiking in the woods, swimming, and skating. Marion committed her life to the Lord at a Dr Rice Gospel Evangelist Campaign. From then on, she loved to tell others about Jesus, gave out many Sunday School papers and taught Sunday School. She was an incredible, fun-loving mother to her daughter and grandchildren.
