ZWICKER, Eva H. (Joudrey) - age 84 of Bridgewater, NS, formerly of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away on December 23, 2022, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Eva was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Mable Joudrey of New Canada.  Surviving is her son, Michael (Lori), Douglas, Massachusetts; grandson, James (Nicole); great- grandchildren Chloie and Ivan, all of Worcester, Massachusetts; brother Raymond (Barbra), Moncton, New Brunswick; many nieces and nephews.  Eva is predeceased by her parents; sister, Florance (Leona) Wamboldt, and her son, James.  Born and raised in New Canada, Nova Scotia, she was a graduate of New Germany Rural High School and went on to graduate from the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax in 1962 with a degree in Nursing.  Eva then moved to Worcester, Massachusetts to pursue a career in nursing.  After retiring, she moved back to New Canada to look after her father.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time in the United Stated with friends and family.  Eva was an active member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church.  She will be missed by family and friends.  Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.  There will be a graveside service for family and friends on July 8, 2023, at 1p.m., in Lakeside Cemetery, New Canada, Rev. David Lutes officiating.  A luncheon will be held following the service in Epworth United Church, New Germany.
