One of the best friends anyone could ask for. Someone who stood by your side through thick or thin. With all my love and friendship Benny.

Condolences and deepest sympathy for the family & friends of Ben Wilcox..
It was both privilege and an honour to have had Ben for a friend and I will miss his friendship greatly. Though since Covid we have spoken daily only via phone I will cherish those conversations always. We spoke every morning which we called “coffee & conversation” time. Many times it was more than once daily and I will miss those conversations deeply. I will miss his amazing knowledge & intelligence. You could go to him for anything, even the most obscure topic and guaranteed he could not only discuss it, he could educate you on it! I will miss his kindness for he had that in spades for all 2 legged & 4 legged creatures. I will miss his voice. Ben had a both unique & special voice. The tone, pitch, clarity, quality & soothing nature of his voice was beautiful. Ben could read the back of a cleaning product and I’d listen would listen just to enjoy the sound of his voice. I will miss his advocacy for truth, for animals, for righteousness, for justice.
I will miss is vast culinary knowledge and skills. He really belonged on MasterChef!
Ben was an amazing friend to all those lucky enough to call him friend. He was a kind, honest, genuine, patient, gentle man… a true Gentleman as well as a talented musician.
Ben’s unexpected & untimely departure has me wishing for the opportunity to have just one more coffee and morning conversation with him but so very grateful for the ones I was privileged to have had. God speed Gentle Ben until we meet again.

As I sit to watch the Jays play, can’t help but remember Ben and I texting, either supporting when they won, or wanting to tell the coaching staff what they were doing wrong. They never called us though lol. Every game I’ll be thinking about you buddy. RIP

Condolences and deepest sympathy for your loss of Benny. I loved him and always did. He and Connie and Laura were really good friends who took care of me in times of need. They had compassion and tenderness. I will always remember the incredible meals he made and the appreciation of fine things. Life without Benny in the world is emptier although when I look up at night I see bright stars and know he is shining down on us all with loving kindness.RIP
