Thinking of the family at this time. Frances always had a smile to share. During her stay at Ridgewood, she was the go-to person when I had family news to share, or wished to reminisce of the days of my childhood (memories of Parkdale and Maplewood, the "Twin Cities").
My thoughts will be with you tomorrow

To all,
Frances, sister to my mother Margaret, was a very special aunt. Some of my most cherished childhood memories were made at her home in Barss Corner. Very friendly and sincere greetings were given by Fran with every visit. Wonderful home cooked meals (made by Aunt Fran), singing and laughter and maybe a competitive card game or two were some of things that stand out in my memories. Attached is a photo of Frances and her late husband Royce. This was taken one day when they came with my parents to visit a job site of her son Andy, of whom I was working for at the time. As usual Frances had a huge smile on her face and was very happy to see all the workers. She was truly a wonderful lady and always reminded me of my late mother.
To all of Fran’s immediate family, so sorry for the loss of this wonderful person. My thoughts are with you. Hold on to the vast fortune of amazing happy memories she created with you all. On those days ahead when you are feeling sad and missing her, revisit a few of the treasured memories because I promise you it will make you smile.

Dear SJ. I want to send my sincere condolences to you and all the family. I remember when your Mom used to come in the Beauty Shop to see you. She was a beautiful lady on the outside and inside. She was a strong woman and loved her family so. I see her different times when I stopped in Ridgewood to see Shirley. I recognized her immediately. She never changed . Cherish all your wonderful memories! Hugs!

To all of Frances beloved family, words of sympathy come along with special mention of the
joy with which we feel she is rejoicing in her eternal reward. She was a lifetime school and church
friend of mine, and one of the finest of mothers and homemakers. Her outgoing interest in others
knew no end and her faith was deep and sincere. She left a legacy of love to all who knew her.
God bless you all as you remember her in your hearts.

Carla, Sandy, Maddy & the whole family. So sorry to hear of Frances sudden passing. As you all know she was a wonderful & kind lady, & always welcomed everyone into her home, & never left without being given something homemade & good to eat! Just seen her a few days before she died at Ridgewood coming up the hall with her walker. She was one of my mother’s first friends when she moved to Ridgewood which was so appreciated. I am very fortunate to have a signed copy of her memoir “ Through It All” which I have enjoyed reading a few times & will always treasure. Our condolences & sympathy to all of the family.

I never had a lot of time to get to know my family but of the older sisters Aunt Frances was my favorite! I'm grateful to her for sending me some pictures of the family reunion back in the 60s. One was of the whole family on the hill across the road. Another was of my grandma holding Andy(?) with me,brother Robert, cousins Jane,George and Burpee. I always hoped i,d get to know Andy and see Frances again!
