Dear dear departed friend, I only knew you briefly, but your spirit of kindness, generosity and goodwill, shone so brightly that it immediately made an indelible impression upon my heart. You thought only of helping others in need, even as you struggled with your own health issues. I had so hoped to see you again upon my annual trip to Nova Scotia this year. But alas, it was not to be. I hope you did not suffer in the end. I will always remember you with great fondness and admiration. You are one the most remarkable men I have ever met.
