Pixie was a cherished musician and an essential member of the Bridgewater Fire Department Band during my time as music director. I still fondly remember her playing from enlarged march sheets that hung off the back of the musician in front of her during parades.

Vernon and family, please accept my condolences. Pixie was a BFDB member when I joined the band and was still an active member for several years after I left the band. I remember Pixie laughing a lot, brightening up the rehearsals without disrupting them. Pixie was instrumental in introducing me to weaving, inviting me to a Kedge Weavers Guild Show and Sale. I purchased a loom from a member there and have been weaving ever since, joining the KWG myself at Pixie's invitation. When I purchased a kayak, she invited me for a paddle on "her" lake. The world will be a sadder place without Pixie.

Our sincerest condolences to Pixie’s family. Pixie was my only paternal girl first cousin. She was a beautiful curly headed blond child so was nicknamed Pixie. She lived next door to me for her early childhood years. We were best of friends and playmates. After she moved away, we kept in touch and visited each other whenever we could. We remember her playing the bagpipes on our cottage dock! We remember her good cooking. We remember her cats that she adored. And we have many more good memories of such a great, talented cousin. We will miss her.
RIP Pixie. We love you.

Vernon and family, our condolences to you at this sad time. We remember Pixie learning to play her bagpipes near her posted sign. The first sounds were not great but she mastered the art of playing the pipes. We loved to see her in the Firemen’s band as she marched in parades with her band members. A wonderful musician.
