Obituary of Graham David MacKay

Graham David MacKay 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, one week following a fall within his home on Seasons Drive, Bridgewater. Born in Pinehurst on June 4, 1940, he was the only son of the late Maxine A. Comeau of Bridgewater. Graham is survived by daughters Charmaine MacKay, Digby; Sherrie MacKay, Moschelle, Annapolis Co.; grandchildren Sam Learn, Halifax; Stacey MacKay, Digby; Tyler Holmes, Halifax and many members of his extended family. He was predeceased by his half sister Nancy. Employed for many years as a truck driver, Graham shared much of his retirement time at home with family, friends and all-time favorite pet, Patches. He will be missed and long remembered by everyone who knew him. Cremation has been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A graveside committal will take place at a later date in the New West Pine Cemetery, Pinehurst. Donations in Graham’s memory may be made to the S.H.A.I.D.
