Obituary of Lucille Mae Oakes

Lucille Mae Oakes 64, of Branch LaHave, Lunenburg County, passed away at home on May 27, 2012. Born in Branch LaHave, she was a daughter of the late Maxwell and Elfreda (Whynot) Oickle. She is survived by her husband Murray, daughter Trina (Frank) Young, Branch LaHave, son Ryan (Kim), Hebbville, grandson, Jordan Young, sister, Elizabeth (Brenton) Mader, Lower Branch and brother Glendon (Enid) Oickle, Branch LaHave. She was predeceased by sisters, Shirley Oickle and Gloria (Alfred) Spindler. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7pm-9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held Wednesday May 30, at 11am, Rev William Gustafson and Rev Catharine House officiating. Private burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Branch LaHave. Family flowers only.
