Arthur Andrew Robar
79, Maplewood, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2012 in the comfort of his own home with his daughter Glenda and beloved dog Sandy by his side. He fought a long battle with COPD. He peacefully left this world to be with his wife, Nellie Muron, who predeceased him on December 27, 2008. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his son, Brian (Margo) Robar, Halifax; grandchildren, Lauren Robar, Kristine Robar; step daughter, Joanne Muron, New Canada and grandchildren, Zackary and Evan, both of Calgary; Merrissa, NL; step daughter, Patricia Sullivan, New Canada and grandchildren, Jeff, Fredericton; Jacob, Dartmouth; Nikki, Chester; daughter, Glenda Muron-Boiduk (Paul Boiduk), Dartmouth and granddaughter, Crystal Denise (Gordon) Bridges, Edmonton; great granddaughters, Ms. Lilly Ann and Ms. Clara, both of Chester. He was predeceased by wife, Nellie Muron; brother, Ernest Robar. Family and friends are invited to attend a potluck from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Pinehurst Community Hall, 3485 highway 10, Pinehurst to celebrate and remember the life of Arthur A. Robar. Burial will be at a later date in Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
