Obituary of Freda Mae Snyder

Freda Mae Snyder 78, of Bridgewater/Upper Northfield passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 in Bridgewater. Born Aug. 28, 1934, in Upper Northfield, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Lois (Joudrey) Lohnes. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roland, Bridgewater/Upper Northfield; one sister Hilda Keddy, Berwick; sons James (Cynthia) Snyder, Bridgewater; Jerry (Debbie) Snyder, Lower Sackville, and three grandsons, Matthew and Andrew, Bridgewater and Joel, Lower Sackville. She is predeceased by daughter Joanne and ten sisters and brothers. Freda worked extremely hard all her life, and was very dedicated in every way to her family. She received first place in all of our hearts for being the BEST wife, Mom, Nanny, Mother-in-Law and friend. She loved eating out, drives, coffee ice-cream, and winning at playing cards. She spent the last three years of her life at Hillside Pines, Bridgewater where she received care from a staff that is second to none. The residents and all of the dedicated staff were an important part of her extended family. Special thanks also to the staff of Emerg and Fourth floor at South Shore Regional who gave her such excellent and compassionate care.
