Obituary of Lillian Marguerite Stewart
Lillian Marguerite Stewart (Bolivar)
Age 100, passed away on September 23, 2012 at the South Shore Regional Hospital at Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. Born in Camperdown, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Millie (Naugler) Boliver. She was a homemaker and worked for many years at the South Shore Exhibition. She was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church, Camperdown, where she served as secretary-treasurer and as a Sunday school teacher and superintendant. As a member of the Ladies's Aid, she made numerous quilts and baby layettes for Lutheran World Relief. She is survived by her children, Myrtle, Sylvia (Walter), and Harold (Sheila); brothers, Carmon (Hazel) and Forrest (Diane); sisters, Margaret (John) and Marjorie; grandchildren, David (Donna), Diane, Elaine, Robert, Peter, Heather-Anne, James, and Ian (Patricia); great-grandchildren, Nancy, Sarah, and William; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, James; infant children, Helen and Vernon; sister, Norma; stepmother, Claribel; son-in-law, David; brothers-in-law, Lorne, Clifton, Edward, and Gifford; sister-in-law, Nellie. Visitation will be held 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Monday, September 24 in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, September 25 in Christ Lutheran Church, Camperdown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only.
