Obituary of Malcolm Kenneth Walker

Malcolm Kenneth "Mac" Walker It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Malcolm Kenneth “Mac” Walker at home on May 28th 20012 in Martins River, Lunenburg Co with his loving wife, and family at his side. Born in Ellershouse, Hants Co. he was the son of the late John Kenneth, and Mary Jane (Knight) Walker. For the past twenty years Mac was known to many as the “Satellite Man” by installing Express Vu for Windsor Home Hardware, and most recently Star Choice for Calvin’s Radio and TV. He assisted many people over the telephone with their satellite problems over the years. After a prolonged illness, Mac achieved his dearest wish, and married his long time love Virginia two weeks ago on Saturday May 19th 2012. The romantic ceremony was held with family and friends present to share in Mac and Virginia's special day, and their happiness was shared by all that attended. Mac leaves to mourn his loving wife Virginia (Oickle) Martins River; step daughters, Jackie (Rene) Barkhouse, Upper Northfield, Sonya (Bret) Borgersen, North Port, Flordia. Three step grandchildren Ashlyn and Nolan Barkhouse, Upper Northfield, Cassi Borgersen, North Port, Florida. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Thursday May 31st from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Palliative Care Unit of the Fishermen’s memorial Hospital, Lunenburg Co. Branch of the VON, Lunenburg Co.
