Obituary of Charles William Whynot
Charles William Whynot
76, of Camperdown, passed away February 11, 2012 at the South Shore Regional Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Dayspring, he was the son of the late Timothy and Mamie (Fralick) Whynot. In his early adult life he was a member of the West Nova Scotia Regiment (M) as a trained Militiaman. He was a carpenter by trade and worked for various companies. After retiring he spent much of his time enjoying the outdoors, hunting, fishing and working in the woods. He is survived by his second wife Thelma (Penny) of 36 years, son Micheal (Sarah Zwicker), Conquerall Bank; Sally (Bob) Coleman, Pleasantville; Mark (Lisa), Bridgewater; April (Danny) Lohnes, Conquerall Mills; sisters Hazel (Earl) Snyder, Oakhill; Myrtle Wambolt, Dartmouth; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Ida (Nauss) and infant son, Matthew Charles. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Cremation has taken placed and a private interment for immediate family only will be held at a later date and officiated by Pastor Catharine House.
