Obituary of Beryl Marcella Bowers

Beryl Marcella Bowers 92, Voglers Cove, Lunenburg Co., passed away on January 12, 2013 at home. Born in Broad Cove, she was a daughter of the late Orie and Emily (Herman) Conrad. Beryl loved spending time with family and enjoyed playing cards. In her younger days, she loved travelling, dancing and had a zest for life. Surviving are her son, Robert “Bob” James, Broad Cove; grandchildren, Robbie James (Lindy), Brian James (Falon), Paula Hunt (Ronnie); great grandchildren, Codie, Noah, Ethan and Peter; also, several step grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert “Bob” Bowers; daughter, Diane James; step daughters, Diana and Susie; sister, Madge Emino. Visitation today, 7-9 p.m., Monday, January 14, 2013 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Voglers Cove. Rev. Oliver Osmond officiating with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Voglers Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
