Obituary of Barbara Joan Cameron

Barbara Joan Cameron 60, of Bridgewater passed away on Monday, May 27, with family by her side Born in Pender Harbour, BC, Barbara was a daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Freeman) Cameron. Barbara is survived by her daughters: Tamara Himmelman (Mark Matthews), Halifax and Kristin Himmelman (Jeff Vanderploeg), Ottawa; siblings: Anne Feenstra, Port Coquitlam, BC; Terry Feener, Conquerall Bank; Maureen Cameron, Richmond, BC; Nancy Footz, St. Albert, AB; and Robbie Cameron, Pender Harbour, BC; numerous nieces and nephews; and by her beloved granddaughter, Poppy. Respecting Barbara’s wishes, the family will receive friends for a time of celebration at Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater from 7-9 pm Friday, June 7, 2013. The family would like to thank the Lunenburg County VON, South Shore Palliative Care, Dr. Diane Edmonds, and Dr. Bruce Colwell along with the nursing staff of the South Shore Regional Hospital for the professionalism and care they provided to Barbara.
