Obituary of Russell Mailman

Russell Norman Mailman 80, of Chelsea, passed away January 17, 2002 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Chelsea, he was a son of the late Cecil and Jennie (Wentzell) Mailman. He was a veteran of the Second World War and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 24, Bridgewater. He is survived by his wife, Eva; daughter, Audrey and son-in-law Gordon Webster, Moncton; granddaughters, Krissy and Beth; sister, Marjorie Robar; brothers, Doran, Bruce, Lewis, Donald, Marshall; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Thelma and a sister in infancy. Visitation will be held Saturday from 7 to 9pm with a public legion tribute service being held 7pm, all in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday in the Chelsea Baptist Church, Rev. John Kaulback officiating. A private family burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Family flowers only.
