Obituary of Janette Irene Comeau

Janette Irene Comeau 66, of Dayspring, passed away on January 30th surrounded by family. She was born in Lakeside, NS, the daughter of the late George and Norma (Fisher) Clarke. Janette recently lost her husband of 48 years, Arcade “Archie”. She is also predeceased by her son, Victor and sisters, Louise, Geraldine (Gerry) and Edith. She is survived by her daughters Yvonne (Philip) Giles, Carolyn (Royden) Hebb; son Nicholas (Alicia); grand-daughters Taylor, Jaime and Danielle; sisters Helen, Muriel, Julia, Catherine; brothers George and Arthur and several nieces and nephews. Janette was an active member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, a beautiful quilter and found much joy from family, friends and her new found career after “retirement” with the South Shore Regional School Board. A mass will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, February 9th at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Bridgewater. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Previously had funeral service scheduled for Saturday, February 9 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, will be rescheduled to 11 a.m., Monday, February 11 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, due to the pending weather. Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks Aunt Helen (Slauenwhite) and family friends, Pat and Fraser Dorman. Your enduring support to our parents and to us over the past year is very much appreciated.
