Obituary of Vivian Luella Corkum

Vivian Luella Corkum 83, New Cumberland, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown, where she had been residing. She was the daughter of the late Amos and Annie (Rafuse) Nowe. She is survived by daughter, Linda (Carl) Minnick; several grand and great grand children; brother, Nelson Nowe, Seabright; brother in law, Earle Wagner and family, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband, Lowell; beloved son, Daniel “Danny”; sister, Ruth; brothers, Gerald, Norman, Avery and son in law, Gerald Rafuse. She will be sadly missed by Glendon and Sylvia Nowe and Luetta Ross. By personal request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013 in New Cumberland Cemetery, New Cumberland. Rev. Doug Porter officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IWK Children’s Hospital, as was Vivian’s wish. Vivian touched the hearts of a great many of the staff and residents of Mountain Lea Lodge.
