Obituary of Doris Emberley

Doris Alma Hilda Emberly (Langille) 98 of Bridgewater, passed away 4 June 2013 in South Shore Regional Hospital. Born October 5, 1914, in Blockhouse, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Charlotte (Ernst) Langille. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her Husband Monson James Emberly; five brothers Evan, Ernest, Edwin, Roger and Donald Langille; half-brother, Carl Langille; four sisters, Amy Joyce, Edna Rhodenizer, Audrey Conrad and Marguerite Knickle; and her great-grandson Nigel Jenkins-Murray. Surviving are daughters Charlotte (Charles) Jenkins, Wentzell Lake; Doris Elaine (Laurie) Veinotte, Maitland; sons John, Montreal; George, Bedford; Half-sister, Florence (Charles) Bent, Bridgetown; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by Doris’s request. Private family interment will be in Dayspring Cemetery 1:30 p.m., Monday 10 June. In lieu of the flowers, donations in Doris’s memory may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater or to the Bridgewater Sr. Wheels.
