Obituary of Marilyn Joyce Finlayson

Marilyn Joyce Finlayson (Hirtle) 74, passed away February 25, 2013 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Marilyn was born in Liverpool on February 16, 1939 and was then daughter of the late Arthur and Hazel (Nowe) Hirtle. She is survived by her husband Duncan; sons Arthur (Wendy) and Duncan (Cindy Butts); granddaughters Sarah Finlayson, Malissa and Breanna Butts; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Shirley Pernette. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment will be at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Health Services Foundation of the South Shore (Palliative Care Services), the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of choice.
