Obituary of Peter Leslie Fowler

Peter Leslie Fowler Of Upper LaHave died peacefully July 26th 2013 at the South Shore Regional Hospital. He was born in Vancouver on April 6th, 1926. He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Helen Mary (McKeen) Fowler in January 2002. He is survived by four children: Randy Fowler (Vicki), Clay Fowler (Henrietta), Lee Fowler, Joy Lockhart (Colin), five grandchildren Meghan Nixon (Jon), Richard Fowler (Maggie), Ransford Lockhart (Amy), Gillian Lockhart and Jocelyn Lockhart and three great grand children Alish Fowler, Finley Fowler and Georgia Nixon. Peter was a chemical engineer who worked for Noranda Mines for most of his career. He loved to garden, sail and do wood working. He was an avid reader and enjoyed the opera and theatre. He will be missed by his family and friends. In keeping with Peters wishes there will be no visitation and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
