Obituary of Betty Louise Garrison

Betty Louise Garrison 89 of Conquerall Bank passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 26 in Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Conquerall Bank she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Annie (Rafuse) Fraser. Betty was an avid bowler playing in bowling leagues both in Halifax, and Bridgewater. Betty was an active member of the Anglican Church Woman and a member of the choir for many years in the former St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Conquerall bank. Betty is survived by sisters Jean Fraser, Conquerall Bank; Marie MacDonald, St. Catharines, Ont.; Shirley Gow, Bridgewater; Helen (Ken) Cole, Claresholm AB.; brother, Ronald (Francis) Fraser, Conquerall Bank; many nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her husband Larry Garrison, Sisters Reta Cochrane, Barbara Wentzell, Connie Boehner, brothers Weldon and Keith Fraser. Visitation will be held in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater on Friday March 29 from 2-4pm. Funeral service will be held in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater on Saturday March 30 at 2pm with Rev. Alvin Westgate officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Leaf Cemetery, Conquerall Bank. Flowers accepted. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
