It is with incredibly heavy hearts our family announces the sudden passing of Randall Wayne Greek, 44, of Maitland, Lunenburg Co., on September 1, 2013 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, surrounded by his loving family. Randy lived in his childhood home with his first love and best friend, Teresa (Langille) and his two beautiful children, Megan and Matthew. Randy is also survived by his parents, Gary and Donna (Eichel) Greek, Oakhill; sister, Amanda (Terry) Boutcher, West Northfield; grandfather, Harry Greek, Northwest; father in law, Reid Langille, Cornwall; sister in law, Tracey (Stephen) Frank, Cornwall; nephews, Colby, Logan and Ashton; niece, Sarah; aunt, Doris (Ronnie) Deamond, Oakhill; uncle, Danny (Linda) Eichel, Hebbville; cousins, Michael (Beth) Deamond, Kelsey Clark and Katie Eichel. He was predeceased by his mother in law, Beverley (Ritcey) Langille; cousin, Cathy Deamond-Clark; grandparents, Donald and Kay Eichel and Daisy Greek. Randy was a valued employee of MBW Courier for 10 years. He enjoyed spending time at home with his family, watching nascar and sports. He was a loyal HABS fan. He enjoyed life to the fullest, whether it was buggying with the crew, playing pool with the boys or BBQing for family and friends. Randy will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him, especially his wife and children. Being a father was his greatest joy. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A service to celebrate Randy’s life will be 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater. Rev. Willis Ott officiating with private family interment in New Cornwall Memorial Gardens, Middle Cornwall with a public reception to follow at the Oakhill Fire Hall, Oakhill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or charity of choice.
