Obituary of Wayne Reginald Hiltz

Wayne Reginald Hiltz 65 of Martins River, Lunenburg County passed away on Saturday, March 9 2013 in Bridgewater. Born in Halifax he was the son of Irene Frances (Whynock) Hiltz, of Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay, formerly of Martins River, and the late Reginald Harris Hiltz. Wayne will be missed and never forgotten by wife Sheryl (Hirtle) Hiltz, Martins River; Sons, Ricky (Melissa) Hiltz, Martins River; Dennis (Beth) Hiltz, Hammonds Plains; brother Leslie (Joy) Hiltz, Martins River; grandchildren Tyler, Logan, Ben, and Grayson, Nieces Christine Knickle, Maplewood; Krystal Lively, Sackville; nephew Daniel Hirtle, Lewis Lake. Wayne was predeceased by a sister Faye in infancy. Wayne retired after 31 years as a plumber with Dalhousie University. His interests included his hobby farm, hunting, fishing, and hitting the open road on his Harley. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation by family request. A memorial service will be held Thursday March 14th at 2 pm in St. Martin’s Anglican Church, Martin’s River with Rev Peter Rafuse officiating.
