Obituary of Roy S. Hirtle

Roy St. Elmo Hirtle 98 of Conquerall Bank, Lunenburg Co. passed away Tuesday December 10, 2013 in the Veterans’ Unit at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Conquerall Bank, he was the son of the late Harry and Lois (Corkum) Hirtle. He was Past Master of Acacia Lodge #39, Bridgewater, an honorary member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Bridgewater and an honorary member of the Conquerall Bank Fire department. He is survived by his sisters Gloria. He was predeceased by sisters Sylvie, Grace, Pearl, Shirley and brother Stephen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. At his request no service will be held and no flowers please. Donations in Roy’s memory may be made to the Veterans’ Unit at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg or the charity of choice.
