Obituary of Jon Bjorn Jonsson

Jon Bjorn Jonsson Born in Reykjavik, Iceland on December 24, 1959. It is with deep regret and sorrow that we mourn the passing of our beloved son, father, brother and friend, Jon Jonsson, 53 of Bridgewater, on November 10, 2013. Jon was a good friend and a charitable soul who was loved by many. He was a scallop fisherman who loved the sea, shipmates and his family, a game of snooker, a round of golf, a game of cards, music and a shot of rum. He will be truly missed by his daughter, Alyssa whom he adored; step daughter, Bailey; mother, Hanna; sister, Linda (Mike); nieces, Lisa and Michelle; grand nieces and grand nephews; brother, Ragnar (Judy); nephews, Erik and Alex. He was predeceased by his father, Captain Arni Jonsson. Visitation, Saturday, November 16, 2013 beginning at 1 p.m., in the New Life Christian Church, Elm Street, Bridgewater with memorial service to follow at 2 p.m., Rev. Willis Ott officiating.
