Leigh Everett Langille
92, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Born, April 15, 1921 in Simpsons Corner, he was a son of the late Norman and Claudia (Emino) Langille. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Royal Canadian Army. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Delia Mae (MacKay) Langille; daughter, Diane (David) Morgan, Dartmouth; son, Gerald (Gail) Langille, Beaver Bank; grandchildren, Steven (Kim) Langille, Jonathan (Nadia) Langille, Sarah (Chris) Urquhart, Todd Garber, Jennifer Langille (Ryan), Susan (Chad) Laird; 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, Gary; infant twin granddaughters, Tina and Lisa; sister, Audrey Carver; brother, Murray Langille. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Public graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Epworth Cemetery, School Street, New Germany. Rev. Juanita Barteaux officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, Epworth Cemetery, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or charity of choice.
