Obituary of James Ivan MacKay

James Ivan MacKay 76 of New Canada, passed away on Thursday 29 August 2013 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late Rex and Hilda (Lowe) MacKay. James is survived by his wife Irene; daughter Natalie MacKay, Milton Ontario; son Timothy (Paul Davison) MacKay, Wolfville; grandchildren Tashina MacKay, Wolfville; Travis MacKay, South Alton; sister Lucille (Leroy) Naugler, Springfield; brother Allison “Allie” (Linda) MacKay, Pinehurst along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Barbara (Oickle) MacKay and sister Betty Lou MacKay. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., Monday 2 September in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater prior to the Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M., Rev Ivan Norton officiating. A private family burial will follow in Pinehurst Community Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
