Obituary of Ronald George Nauss

Ronald George Nauss 80 passed away on Wednesday November 6, 2013 in his home in Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late James Bennett and Esther (Creaser) Nauss. Ronald was the last of the six brothers who started the Nauss Brothers Ltd. Construction Company. He was a member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church, the Bridgewater Fire Department for 30 years and has been an honorary member for the last 25 years. He was also a member of the Bridgewater Fire Department Band and loved curling. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dona Lee Uhlman; sons Jeffery (Crissy Godfrey) Nauss, Dayspring ; Andy (Angela) Nauss, Bridgewater; Stephen (Colleen) Nauss, Crousetown; sisters Verna Lohnes, Liverpool; Marie Silver, Mahone Bay; 10 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Ronald was predeceased by a daughter in infancy; sisters Minnie Parks, Jean Demone and Muriel Knickle; brothers Murray, Russel, Frederick, Clarence and Charles Nauss. Visitation will be held 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Friday November 8 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday November 9 in the Bridgewater Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Brian MacArthur officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
