Obituary of Florence Tufts

Florence Rose Tufts (Moore) 68 of Lunenburg. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose in Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, on Tuesday September 18, 2007. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of Violet Hazel Moore and the lat Edward Moore. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ira; daughters Elva (Danny) Jefferson, Lunenburg; Donna Feader, Bridgewater; Carolanne (Shawn) Demone, Nineveh; sons Roy Tufts, New Germany; Todd Weatherby, Toronto ; sisters Shirley, Ruth, Diane, Gloria, Lillian, Shelley, Valerie and Wanda; brothers Sylvester, Clarence, Billy, Leon, Gary and Eric; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters Linda and Debbie; son Timmy; brother Wayne. Resting at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, where visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday. Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday at Central United Church, Lunenburg , Rev. Grace Caines-Corkum officiating.
