Obituary of Margaret Joyce Patterson

Margaret Joyce Schofield Fancey Patterson 81 of Bridgewater passed away Saturday September 7, 2013 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Berwick on December 16th, 1931, she was the eldest daughter of the late Clarence and Norma (West) Schofield of Dempsey Corner. Margaret loved to cook, read, shopping and doing puzzles of any kind. Her pride and joy was her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Brian (Kit) Fancy; David (Crystal) Fancey both of Cambridge, Ontario; Ricky (Susan) Fancey, Colpton; daughter Margaret Anne (Brian) Easson, Kingston; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; sisters Norma Jean Luther, Halifax; Mary Schofield (Don Thompson) Ottawa; brothers Huge (Bea) Schofield; John (Evelyn) Schofield; Charlie (Joyce) Schofield all of Ontario; sister-in- law Mary Schofield, Berwick. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Larry, son Wayne Fancy, brothers Joseph, Philip, Robert, David and George. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater 11:00 A.M. Thursday September 12, Rev. Vic Adams officiating. A private family burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. A reception following the service will be held in the Pleasant River Community Hall. Family flowers only, please.
