Obituary of Parker Tufts

Parker Nepean Tufts 82, Lake Pleasant, Annapolis County, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2007 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lake Pleasant, he was a son of the late Primrose and Minnie (Whynot) Tufts. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, the former Lois Oickle; sons, Eugene, Lake Pleasant; Kenneth, Falkland Ridge; granddaughter, Tiffany McLeod, New Germany; great grandson, Damian John Kenneth Robar; nephews, Reggie and Brian Villeneuve, Digby. He was predeceased by his sister, Iona Oakley. Visitation 7–9 p.m. Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Springfield United Baptist Church, Springfield. Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Family interment will follow in the church cemetery.
