Obituary of Leonard Frederick Slaunwhite

Leonard Frederick Slaunwhite 77, of Bridgewater, passed away Sunday December 15, 2013 in the QE II Health Science Centre, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Helen (Barry) and the late Sherman Slaunwhite. Leonard is survived by his wife Fay (Rhodenizer); daughters Sharry (David) Booker, Beaver Bank; Michele (Wayne) Coburn, McAdam, New Brunswick; sister Sandra (Edward) Shortell, Ottawa, Ontario; brothers Ronald (Emily) Slaunwhite, Ottawa Ontario; Murray (Agnes) Slaunwhite, Windsor; grandchildren Danielle and Kyle Booker; Benjamin and Brodie Coburn; great grandchild Lilah Booker along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A private family service and burial will be held at a later date.
