Obituary of Joan A. Smith

Joan A. Smith - Age 65, Midville Branch passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on March 25, 2013. Born in Bridgewater she was a daughter of the late Harold K. and Helen (Lohnes) Silver.

She is survived by her husband Charles, daughter, Melanie Smith(Darren Veinot), Midville Branch; sister Elaine Joudrey, Wileville; brothers, Ronald Silver, Northfield; Donald Silver (Patricia Brocinsky), Grand Cache, AB. Several nieces and nephews.

Joan was predeceased by a son Cameron Charles Smith.

Visitation will be held in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater from 7-9 pm Wednesday March 27, and where funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday March 28, with Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial will follow in the Midville Branch Cemetery, Midville Branch. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Midville Branch Cemetery, the Rosanne Himmelman Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, the David Atkinson Memorial Scholarship fund, the Palliative Care Fund for the South Shore, or charity of choice.
