Obituary of Marjorie Lousie Smith

Marjorie Lousie Smith 73, Lower Branch, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Bridgewater, where she had been residing. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ruby (Morgan) Veinot. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her daughters, Donna (Terry) Croft, Crousetown; Gail Peach, Lower Branch; grandchildren, Jillian Croft, Kimberly Croft, Matthew Childs, Jeremy Smith. She was predeceased by husband, Arthur Smith. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Public graveside service 2 p.m. Tuesday in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Rev. Eleanor Scarlett officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Hillside Pines Nursing Home, Alzheimers Society of Nova Scotia.
