Obituary of Patricia Smith

Patricia Smith 79 of Barss Corner, passed away Friday July 19 2013 in South Shore Regional Hospital. Born in Chester England, she was the second daughter Walter and Ruby Cane. She was a survivor of the Coventry blitz of WW2, and attended art school in Swindon where she met and married fellow student Barry Smith. They immigrated to Canada in 1957 and settled in the Atlantic Provinces where they raised a family of two boys, and a daughter Michael, Timothy, and Julie. They have two grandchildren Ryan and Victoria. Along with all the family, Patricia has been a Jehovah’s Witness of over 56 years and regularly engaged in the public ministry for which the Witnesses are well known. She looked forward with complete faith in Jehovah’s promise of a resurrection to life on a paradise earth. (John 5:28) A memorial service is scheduled at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, New Germany for Saturday August 3rd at 2:00P.M.
