Obituary of Barbara Pearl Veinot

Barbara Pearl Veinot 74 Hebbville passed away in Halifax on December 23, 2013. Born in Camperdown she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Ruby (Hirtle) Fancy. Barbara was employed with Michelin Tire, Bridgewater retiring with more than 25 years service. Barbara always enjoyed being outside working around her yard, and gardens until she was given a diagnoses of being legally blind. She was a very dedicated and hard working mother raising her children alone. Barbara is survived by daughters Wanda (Lee Arenburg) Veinot, Hebbs Cross; Sherry (Winston) Murphy, Thorburn, Pictou Co.; sons Kendall Veinot, Chester; Larry (Valerie) Veinot, Weymouth, Digby Co.; Blaine Veinot, LaHave Manor, Bridgewater. Sister Zelda (Peter) Gow, Pine Grove, Brothers Donald Fancy, Lapland; Keith (Carolyn) Fancy, Camperdown; Rodger (Sally) Fancy, Baker Settlement. Five Grand Children, Corey Veinot,; Tiffany Veinot, both of Weymouth, Digby Co. Melissa Veinot, West Clifford; Michelle Arenburg, Hebbville; Murray Stewart, Sunny Brae, Pictou Co. Three Great Grandchildren, Madilyn Stewart, Sunny Brae; Mataya Arenburg, Hebbville; Apryl Arenburg-Purvis, Hebbville. Six nieces and nephews, Frank Fancy, Daniel Fancy, Amanda Fancy, Janelle Fancy, Jennifer Gow, Denise Gow. Besides her parents she was pre-deceased a daughter Bonnie Sue, sister Melda. Visitation will be held Friday December 27th in Sweeny’s Funeral Home; Bridgewater from 7-9pm, funeral Service will be at 10am Saturday December 28th also at Sweeny’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lone Pine Cemetery, Lapland. Rev. James Haughn officiating.
