Obituary of Russell Alvin Wile

Russell Alvin Wile 100, of Stanley Section, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Stanley Section he was a son of the late Sydney and Lydia (Cook) Wile. Russell was an honorary member of the South Shore Bluegrass Music Association; member of the Rosedale New Horizons Club, New Germay and a long time member of the Liberal Association. He was also an elder and choir member of the United Church, New Canada. Surviving are his daughter, Linda (Edward) Yeazel, Beaver Bank; son, Wayne (Alice) Wile, Stanley Section; grandchildren, Deraldlyn (Steven) Graham, Angus, Ont; Karol Yeazel, Oldsmar, Fla; Jonathan (Tracy) Wile, Stanley Section; Jennifer (Granville) Hayward, New Canada; great grandchildren, Ronan, Madison, Allison; a special companion, Jessie Slauenwhite, Stanley Section. He was predeceased by his wife, Elsie (Joudrey) Wile; sisters, Beatrice Henley, Beulah Wiles, Eva Lazenby, Sadie Poole; great granddaughter, Larissa. Visitation 7-9 p.m., Sunday, October 13 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral service 2 p.m., Monday, October 14, 2013 in Epworth United Church, New Germany.
